What Happens Next?

If you see a possible fit for your ceremony needs, call or e-mail us to see if your date is available.

If it is, we will schedule a complimentary consultation so the four of us can get to know each other.  This conversation will include a discussion of your values, goals, and communication styles…as well as talking about your wedding plans.

Sometimes couples are not sure what type of ceremony they want, so we bring samples of some of the weddings we have conducted to give you some ideas.

Creating Your Ceremony

Creating a customized ceremony can seem like an overwhelming task.  We simplify the process by providing a ceremony template which can be adapted to your taste.

You can cut and paste from the ceremonies, readings, Scriptures, and poetry that we provide you.  We will e-mail several items at a time, then you tell us when you are ready for more.  You can also use material that you have written or have found from other sources.

We encourage you to give us feedback about selections that you really like, or don’t like.  That way we can send you material that is more your style…and save you some time.

You are free to provide service materials you have found on your own.  Likewise, it is fine to  use vows that we send you, adapt those, or write your own vows.

When you have selected all of your ceremony material, your officiant will weave it together into a smoothly flowing service.  You will receive a copy by e-mail for you to review.  The ceremony is finished when you say so.

The Ceremony Coordinator

If you are not working with a professional wedding planner, you will need a rehearsal and ceremony coordinator.  You are in luck!  We offer the “Front Minister and Back Minister” option.  You can contract with both of us…one of us to officiate your ceremony, and the other one to make everything work smoothly.  It takes two professionals, one in the front and one in the back, to create a beautiful wedding.

Great Fit…Now What?

If you are working with a professional wedding planner, you will be working with one of us to craft and officiate your wedding ceremony.

Depending on our availability, you get to choose which one of us you would like to officiate your ceremony.  If you will be hiring both of us, you may select which one of us will serve as your officiant and which one as your ceremony coordinator.

After you have signed a contract and paid a deposit, we will e-mail ceremony materials to you.   You can begin selecting items you like.
